With another appointment of a Supreme Court justice, there is much talk on the right side and the wrong side of the abortion issue about whether Roe v. Wade will be overturned.  The reality is that this Supreme Court decision never has carried any authority.  It is only invalid authorization for certain individuals and certain groups under certain circumstances to commit murder for money and convenience.

Those on the right side should know better than to use phrases such as, “legalized abortion, make abortion illegal, or the law concerning abortion should be overturned.”  Abortion is not now, nor will it ever be, legal.  No opinion or edict by any branch of government, any body politic, any group, or anyone can make it legal.  Neither is it a decision for any state to decide.  Wrong is still wrong, no matter who declares it is right.

The One that sets all standards of right and wrong has forever made abortion wrong.  The Ten Commandments given by the Creator are the basic measuring stick for what is right and what is wrong.  These commandments are found in the Bible in Exodus 20:13, one of which states that you shall not murder.  Since man is the created, he cannot change the Commandments to fit his own ideas of right and wrong.

God’s command is reiterated by our law in the second paragraph of the Declaration of Independence, where it says, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”  The right to life applies to all mankind, including born or unborn babies.  It goes without saying that if they are murdered they cannot have liberty, nor can they pursue happiness.

The same applies to marriage.  Man does not define marriage.  It is not an issue for the Supreme Court, the states, or anyone else to settle.  God established marriage.  In Matthew 19:4 in the Bible, Jesus refers to the book of Genesis in the Bible, chapter 2: “Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’ and said, ‘for this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’?  So they are no longer two, but one flesh.  Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”

God made only male and female.  He did not make trans, bi, or any other category, and He defined marriage as between one male and one female.  As it did in Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court overstepped its authority in Obergefell v. Hodges by ruling that marriage can be any other.

There is only one Who is supreme, and it is not a court made of men and women who pompously presume that they can overrule God.  The Supreme Court is not supreme, and we should never grant them supremacy by using their terms such as, “legalized abortion”, or “homosexual marriage”.  Our next Supreme Court justice should understand this.

 

 

Since its inception, America has been a magnet to the people of the world, drawing immigrants from every quarter of the globe.  There were and are good reasons for this.  America’s foundation of freedom is based upon Biblical principles.  Its prosperity and security stem from that Christian heritage.  The Left’s Janus face speaks negatively about America from one side and invites the world into it from the other.  This is because the Left despises The God of the Bible, therefore it despises freedom, prosperity, and security because they are blessings of God.

In the past, immigrants were allowed into the United States in a measured manner, allowing for the overarching American spirit to influence the assimilation of the newcomers into the American ideals.  By ignoring borders and abetting the influx of immigrants, the Left intends for the American way to be overwhelmed and destroyed, clearing the way for a Godless form of government.

There abides in the Left a spiritual blindness that keeps it from seeing Truth.  This is why it disregards the obvious, such as the exceptionalism of America, the dangers of open borders, the facts concerning male and female, the barbarity of abortion, the thievery of forcing one to give to another, the foolishness of spending more than is available, the peril of a weak military, the criminality of forcing individuals to be unarmed, the supremacy of Christianity, and so on.

As President Trump and those who love America make efforts to secure our border, the Left is pretending to be concerned for those entering the country illegally, especially for the children involved.  We know that their concern is all pretense, because it was their policy under former president Barack Obama that encouraged these immigrants to break U. S. immigration law and to suffer the consequences of their actions.  Their amount of concern for children is also vividly illustrated in their promotion of dismemberment and death of the unborn.    Unlike Obama, President Trump is executing the law of the land instead of breaking the law of the land.  The consequences of the crime of illegal entry to the country, such as separation of children from parents or other accompanying adults, lies with the parents, adults, and the Left.  There are legal entry points for immigrants to seek asylum or enter the country.  Attempting to enter at any other point is to take the risk of suffering the penalties prescribed by law.

The Left is pushing for the tipping point where Americans and America are broke from doling out foreign and domestic aid while the nation’s debt continues to soar.  The same is happening in Europe where Muslim immigration is replacing European culture with the Islamic culture of bondage and death.  The U. S. is facing an attempt by the Left to replace American culture with both Islamic and Hispanic culture.  One of the main reasons for this is to gain millions of votes for the Leftists’ Democratic Party by allowing non-citizens to illegally vote in elections and move forward the Party’s agenda.  The Obama administration’s illegal Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and its illegal Development, Relief and Education for Alien Minors Act (DREAM Act) is part of the Left’s attempt to dismantle and end U. S. governing by the Constitution.  Congress irresponsibly allowed former president Obama to establish DACA, which allows illegal aliens to remain in the U. S. indefinitely, and the DREAM Act would grant them citizenship.  Both are illegal because Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution gives Congress the power to establish a uniform rule of naturalization.  The DREAM Act would not be part of a uniform rule of naturalization, but would grant citizenship extraneously.  One group of people would become citizens in one manner, and another group in another manner.  Also, those born to aliens in the U. S. are not automatically citizens under the 14th Amendment to the Constitution because this amendment states, “All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside.”  Such persons are not subject to the jurisdiction of the United States when they are born, nor are their parents.  They are in the country illegally and subject to the jurisdiction of the country from which they came.

If the Left accomplishes its goal, America will become like the other nations that have turned against God and His son Jesus Christ and will lose its magnetization because it will lose the blessings of life, liberty, and the freedom to pursue happiness.  It will lose its status of the most free, prosperous, and secure nation on earth.  These things are too valuable to give up without a fight.  Apathy and indifference are weapons of the enemy that cause self-inflicted wounds.  The relentless evil and darkness of the Left activates it to action.  Our victory lies in the vitality of the vigilant and faithfulness to the Father.

The nation has elected a Republican president and Republican majorities to the House and Senate, in part to reduce government spending of our money.  However, with the recent budget bill that was voted for and signed into law by those who are so generous with our money, the spending limit has increased by $300 billion over two years.  Much of this increase is for the military, but there are plenty of ways to let us keep our money by cutting wasteful spending.  One such cut should have been to the baby butcher outfit Planned Parenthood, but Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, President Trump, and other Republicrats joined in giving the murderers our money.  Instead of getting to spend this portion of our own money to buy food, help orphans, start a business, or for any other good purpose, we aid Planned Parenthood’s macabre activity by handing over to them half a billion dollars a year.  Nowhere in the Constitution does it say Congress or any other body is authorized to take the people’s money and give it to an organization that takes innocent life.  In fact, the opposite is true.  One of government’s few purposes is to protect life.  The second paragraph of the Declaration of Independence states, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.  That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.”  It goes on to say, “That whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness.”

Many members of our federal government have an attitude of convenience toward life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness, and toward law in general.  They will uphold these principles and the rule of law if it is convenient to them.  If not they will find a way to avoid dealing with them or they will skirt around them.  The recently passed budget is a perfect example.  The republicrats didn’t want to rock their gravy boat, so they voted in favor of it “because they had to get some of the democrats to go along to get something done”.  The truth is that not enough of our senators and representatives want to or have enough integrity to abide by the Constitution.  They would rather go along with others who want to bend and break the laws for their advantage.  An obvious example of this is the senate’s sixty vote majority rule.  Instead of allowing bills to be passed by a simple majority, the senate keeps a sixty vote rule which they could easily do away with, and which they did do away with for the confirmation of Neil Gorsuch as a Supreme Court justice.  This way they don’t have to stand their ground and get things done such as protecting life, repealing Obamacare, securing our borders, protecting marriage, quashing the homosexual agenda, and shutting down the pornographic industry, because they don’t really want to do these things.  If they stood for truth and the Constitution, the liberal media and other loud liberals would say negative things about them.  They would then lose the support of deep pocketed progressives at election time and their tax-payer funded ride on the Washington gravy train.

Such attitudes toward life, liberty, and law are what lead to crime and corruption.  These attitudes are flowing down from those elected to high offices of government to every nook and cranny of the country.  The United States Declaration of Independence and Constitution, which are based on Biblical principles, promote and provide protection by law for life and liberty.  When these protections are disregarded by those who are supposed to be the ones assuring that they are kept in place, they are likewise disregarded by many others across the country.  A case in point is the recent shooting in a Florida school that left 17 people dead.  Such shootings, which are becoming routine in schools and other “gun free zones”, are simply the result of apathy and aversion toward law.  If life, liberty, and law are not honored by those who have been put in leadership positions to protect these essentials, then naturally there will be many who follow their lead.

The answer to ending such crimes is a return to law and order, which has been missing in the federal government for a long time.  How about returning to schools and other public places displays of the Ten Commandments, which among other things state that murder is wrong and which give direction for an orderly society?  How about we stop embracing Islam, which promotes heinous activity?  “God bless America” and “In God we trust” are common phrases in our country, but we don’t show our trust in God or seek His blessings when we welcome false gods and false religions.  How about we secure our borders to stop another source of crime?

Integrity and common sense will make for a safe and prosperous nation, but as long as career politicians such as Ryan and McConnell keep being elected, such crimes against the country will continue.  They put up a front to appear conservative and honorable, but when it comes down to it they trash the Constitution just like any other Progressive, and drag as many others as they can into the Washington sewer.
