House Speaker Mike Johnson Holds the Money Bag

A sea change has occurred in the nation’s capital. The leftwing leadership in Congress and the Oval Office has for years been influential in spreading its moral and fiscal corruption to the detriment of the country. Now, judged by his character and past behavior, an American that pledges allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all has the platform and the authority to correct the course of our country.

Mike Johnson is now the steward of Americans’ treasure that is sent to Washington to fund government expenditures. Those in government that like to spend other people’s money would have the nation believe that the use of our money is complicated, and they are the judge of how it is spent, but their role in this is simple and spelled out in Article 1, Section 8 of the United States Constitution. Basically, they are to look after the interests of Americans, not tax them into poverty and plunge them into insurmountable debt.

The course of a nation is indicated by the trail of money left behind. If the money is used properly, the nation is moving in a proper direction. If the money is used for corruption, the nation will descend into corruption. Anyone paying attention can see that we have been making a nosedive into depravity under the current White House administration.

All unconstitutional and improper Federal Government activity can be shut down by Mike Johnson and the House of Representatives by their stopping of payment for such wrongdoing. For many years now, the People’s money has been taken in excess through taxes and intentional inflation and used for unconstitutional and improper purposes. The wealth of the nation has been stolen, and the damage to the nation is untold.

Mike and the House have an opportunity to reestablish the proper method of raising revenue and its dispersion. A relatively small percentage of Americans’ wealth, say the Biblical example of ten percent, would be plentiful to fund Constitutional expenditures. Americans know how to budget and spend their money much better than government administrators, as is made evident by the multi-trillion-dollar debt that has been incurred by these agents and our representatives in Washington. No one in the business world or in a household would have such unfaithful stewards in charge of the money bag.

An individual or a family knows that to get out and to stay out of debt, they must live within their own means. Because Congress and the President are divvying up other people’s money, they continue to take more and more and spend it on “luxury” items such as foreign aid, illegal aliens, worthless inoculations, and the list goes on and on.

Unconstitutional and unnecessary government agencies swallow up vast amounts of the People’s treasure.  The Speaker and the House have the authority and responsibility to turn off their water and let the People keep their own money to build jobs and businesses, give to charity, or whatever else they decide to do with it.

The Convention of States is working to impose fiscal restraints on the Federal Government, limit its power and jurisdiction, and impose term limits on members of Congress. This only makes sense as we watch our money be frittered away, and American principles and ideals quickly erode. Most senators and representatives have proven that they are irresponsible with the People’s money. An Article 5 convention to propose amendments dealing with fiscal restraint, term limits, and reducing the scope and power of the federal government appears to be necessary to correct the course of the country.
