House Speaker Mike Johnson Holds the Money Bag

A sea change has occurred in the nation’s capital. The leftwing leadership in Congress and the Oval Office has for years been influential in spreading its moral and fiscal corruption to the detriment of the country. Now, judged by his character and past behavior, an American that pledges allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all has the platform and the authority to correct the course of our country.

Mike Johnson is now the steward of Americans’ treasure that is sent to Washington to fund government expenditures. Those in government that like to spend other people’s money would have the nation believe that the use of our money is complicated, and they are the judge of how it is spent, but their role in this is simple and spelled out in Article 1, Section 8 of the United States Constitution. Basically, they are to look after the interests of Americans, not tax them into poverty and plunge them into insurmountable debt.   

The course of a nation is indicated by the trail of money left behind. If the money is used properly, the nation is moving in a proper direction. If the money is used for corruption, the nation will descend into corruption. Anyone paying attention can see that we have been making a nosedive into depravity under the current White House administration.  

All unconstitutional and improper Federal Government activity can be shut down by Mike Johnson and the House of Representatives by their stopping of payment for such wrongdoing. For many years now, the People’s money has been taken in excess through taxes and intentional inflation and used for unconstitutional and improper purposes. The wealth of the nation has been stolen, and the damage to the nation is untold.

Mike and the House have an opportunity to reestablish the proper method of raising revenue and its dispersion. A relatively small percentage of Americans’ wealth, say the Biblical example of ten percent, would be plentiful to fund Constitutional expenditures. Americans know how to budget and spend their money much better than government administrators, as is made evident by the multi-trillion-dollar debt that has been incurred by these agents and our representatives in Washington. No one in the business world or in a household would have such unfaithful stewards in charge of the money bag.

An individual or a family knows that to get out and to stay out of debt, they must live within their own means. Because Congress and the President are divvying up other people’s money, they continue to take more and more and spend it on “luxury” items such as foreign aid, illegal aliens, worthless inoculations, and the list goes on and on.

Unconstitutional and unnecessary government agencies swallow up vast amounts of the People’s treasure.  The Speaker and the House have the authority and responsibility to turn off their water and let the People keep their own money to build jobs and businesses, give to charity, or whatever else they decide to do with it.

The Convention of States is working to impose fiscal restraints on the Federal Government, limit its power and jurisdiction, and impose term limits on members of Congress. This only makes sense as we watch our money be frittered away, and American principles and ideals quickly erode. Most senators and representatives have proven that they are irresponsible with the People’s money. An Article 5 convention to propose amendments dealing with fiscal restraint, term limits, and reducing the scope and power of the federal government appears to be necessary to correct the course of the country.

An Article 5 Convention of States is the Essence of We the People

There are those who aspire to protect the United States Constitution who at the same time deny the use of one of its most powerful features. The American ideal is unique among governments in that it is one of self-government. The Framers of the U S Constitution were granted enough wisdom to include in it a method for the states to amend the Constitution when necessary.

Article 5 is the anchor that holds the power of government to the states and to the people against the relentless pull of central government. The force of centralized government that incrementally strips rights and freedom from the citizens has been given sway as the states let out more and more rope. Thankfully, Article 5 allows for the citizens to pull that rope back in by way of a convention of states.    

The Constitution has been sidestepped or utterly disregarded by those who have sworn to protect and defend it. It is only a piece of paper with words on it if it is not followed and enforced. There are many examples of unconstitutional actions taken by presidents and congressmen over many years, and they have not been held accountable.

Most, if not all, of the unlawful behavior is enabled by unsanctioned expenditures such as foreign aid, domestic aid, and federal agencies. As is usually the case, unchecked misbehavior leads to increased misbehavior.

Of late, examples of unconstitutional authority have manifested as forced acceptance of immorality, forced funding of the killing of babies, aiding and abetting illegal aliens, and the suspension of the right to peaceful assembly. By holding an Article 5 convention, the people of the states will take a powerful step to enforce the Constitution and put America back on the correct course.

For the most part, our congressmen control whether the Constitution is followed because they control the spending of our tax dollars. Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution authorizes Congress to have power to lay and collect taxes, duties, imposts, and excises to pay the debts and provide for the common defense and general welfare of the United States. It also gives Congress authority to make all laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying into execution its enumerated powers. Since government activities must be funded, unconstitutional actions are easily stopped by Congress acting upon its responsibility to remove the funding.

Along with the power of the purse, Congress has the power of policing. Article 2, Section 4 of the U S Constitution states that the president, vice president, and all civil officers of the United States shall be removed from office on impeachment for, and conviction of, treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors.

In Article 5, the Founders provided a peaceful means of limiting the power of central government, why should we fear using it? The fear should lie in the runaway federal government that we currently have, not in attempts to put it back in its place.

The American Reversion

WHEN in the Course of human Events, it becomes necessary for one People to dissolve the Political Bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the Powers of the Earth, the separate and equal Station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent Respect to the Opinions of Mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the Separation.
          We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness—-That to secure these Rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just Powers from the Consent of the Governed, that whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these Ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its Foundation on such Principles, and organizing its Powers in such Form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient Causes; and accordingly all Experience hath shewn, that Mankind are more disposed to suffer, while Evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the Forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long Train of Abuses and Usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object, evinces a Design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their Right, it is their Duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future Security. 

America doesn’t need a revolution. It needs a reversion. The opening of the Declaration of Independence above is germane to our current situation in America. We are at a point where we revert to the government that is established by our Constitution, or we continue to have those in elected and other influential positions disregard the Constitution, and laws based upon the Constitution, without any consequences falling upon them, which will result in a form of government previously unknown in the United States of America. The highlighted portion above points to the change that is being made by those currently in control of our government. These people are pulling off a revolution piece by piece while at the same time many of them have sworn to uphold, protect and defend the very same Constitution that they are ignoring and overturning.

The Biden administration, along with many elected and non-elected government officials, and many citizens and illegal aliens, are as much or more an enemy of the United States than any it has faced on a battlefield. Its atrocities are numerous, many of which had commenced before this administration:

Fraudulent Election

Vast amounts of evidence and common sense leaves the obvious conclusion that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were fraudulently “elected” to the high office of the presidency and vice-presidency of the United States of America.

Afghanistan

Americans and a bonanza of American military equipment and supplies were handed over to barbaric, terrorist enemies of the U S.

Border Protection

Border protection has been virtually non-existent, and states are hindered in protecting their own borders from foreign invasion.

Article 1, Section 10, last paragraph, of the U S Constitution authorizes states to use force to protect against invasion:

No State shall, without the Consent of Congress, lay any Duty of Tonnage, keep Troops, or Ships of War in time of Peace, enter into any Agreement or Compact with another State, or with a foreign Power, or engage in War, unless actually invaded, or in such imminent Danger as will not admit of delay.

Immigration Law

Immigration laws are ignored.

Government Oppression

Draconian measures are taken to supposedly combat a disease which was manufactured using Americans’ money, and those who contract it have an average survival rate of 98.52 per cent.

Abortion

The torture and murder of babies is promoted.

Sexual Perversion

Homosexuality and transgenderism is promoted and celebrated.

Financial Irresponsibility

Americans’ money is spent as if it is limitless and on expenditures which are not constitutionally authorized (Article 1, Section 8 and 9).

Discrimination

Christians and caucasians are discriminated against. Favoritism is shown toward other groups.

2nd Amendment

The right to keep and bear arms is infringed upon.

Military

The armed forces are debilitated.

It is for these reasons and so many more that a return to lawfulness and justice is paramount. Time is of the essence as America is fast falling into the hands of communist tyrants. May God help us to return to Him and the freedom, protection, and providence with which He so richly blessed America.

A Lawless America

America is becoming a lawless land.  The downward spiral began at the top, as it always does, with the leadership of government and the human leadership in the church.  This descent began many years ago in subtle, deceptive ways.  The Federal Reserve was established; the tax code was changed to prevent non-profit organizations from being involved politically, so pastors and churches would keep silent for fear of man and fear of lost revenue; official prayers in public schools were outlawed; the war on poverty was declared; the dismemberment and murder of unborn babies was permitted; the Ten Commandments were outlawed in public schools; and in defiance of logic, same sex “marriage” is now promoted.

The Lord Jesus Christ established laws in the beginning (John 1:1-3).  He has set the standards on which America and other lands have based their laws.  Our trouble began when we turned away from God’s laws which are found in the scriptures of the Holy Bible, and when we turned away from the Constitution which is based on those same scriptures.  We are witnessing the results in the chaos and the crime that is manifesting across the country.

The establishment of the Federal Reserve marked one of the first major steps away from the rule of law toward the rule of lawlessness.  Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution authorizes Congress to coin money and regulate the value thereof.  With an unlawful act, Congress ceded this power away from itself to a private group known as the Federal Reserve.  What reason could there be, other than a lust for more riches and power, for a group of men who weren’t satisfied with the wealth that they already possessed, to seek control of the people’s wealth?  God tells us in 1Timothy 6:9-10, “But those who want to be rich fall into temptation, a trap, and many foolish and harmful desires, which plunge people into ruin and destruction.  For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, and by craving it, some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pains.”  The Federal Reserve has plunged many into ruin, destruction, and untold negative consequences for generations.

The Federal Reserve Act of 1913 was supposed to give stability to America’s economy.  However, only 16 years later on October 29, 1929, the Great Depression began affecting not only the United States, but also the world.  The depression continued into the 1940s, revealing to no avail the fallacy of the Federal Reserve and its feigned attempts to be an economic stabilizer.  By tampering with a natural market that can only correct itself through supply and demand, Congress and the Federal Reserve cabal proliferated poverty throughout the republic and the world.  Then the “progressives” did what they commonly do.  Instead of trashing the idea of a central banking system which obviously destabilized, or rather wrecked the economy, they offered solutions to the crises that they created.  With the nation desperate for relief, whatever hope offered was accepted.

The Franklin Roosevelt administration and other progressives offered an answer to the self-inflicted crises: the “New Deal” plan.  Under this plan, Congress allowed funding for the creation and operation of largely autonomous government agencies such as the Social Security Administration, the Federal Housing Administration, the Farm Credit Administration, the Works Progress Administration, and many others.  The New Deal greatly expanded the reach and power of the federal government, usurped state authority, and is still unconstitutionally taking vast amounts of the money of Americans.  Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution covers the limit of authority of the federal government, and these agencies do not fall within this limit.

Typical of liberals, or progressives, it is never enough.  In 1964 President Lyndon Johnson announced the “Great Society” and the “War on Poverty”, which led to even more unconstitutional spending of Americans’ money in addition to the cost of the New Deal.  Johnson and Congress bypassed the Constitution and usurped state authority by funneling tax dollars into such unauthorized areas as food stamps, schools, and Social Security.

Ten years before the declaration of war on poverty, Johnson and Congress smoothed the path before them by curtailing opposition from large segments of the population that would be most likely to balk at their usurpation of power.  The Johnson Amendment declared that tax exempt organizations such as churches could no longer endorse candidates for government office and remain tax exempt.  Church pastors and ministers spend much time studying and reflecting on issues relevant to the well-being of their congregations.  Therefore this threat of lost revenue has ever since, to a great extent, closed off information to a vast number of common sense voters who would otherwise be more informed on important matters affecting their lives and the lives of generations to come.

In 1962, two years before Johnson’s “Great Society” and “War on Poverty”, the Supreme Court led the nation in a rejection of God’s future blessings upon it in the Engel v. Vitale case.  In it, the court ruled that a simple prayer that acknowledged dependence upon almighty God and asked for His blessings was not to be promoted by public schools.  America’s founding document, the Declaration of Independence, acknowledges the Creator and that our rights come from Him, yet the Court ruled that He won’t be prayed to in our schools in any sanctioned fashion.  This is an obvious disconnect between the Court and the country’s foundation.  For that matter, the disconnect runs through all three branches of our government in their erroneous interpretation of the religious clause of the First Amendment.  If the whole counsel of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and writings of the Founders are taken, this clause obviously means to keep the government out of the church and applies only to Christianity.

According to the Declaration of Independence, one of the reasons governments are instituted is to protect life.  In the Supreme Court case of Roe v. Wade in 1973, the most innocent and defenseless sector of the public lost this protection.  Since the ruling in this case, our nation is responsible for an estimated amount of over 50 million infant deaths, and that number continues to grow while the criminals with the reins of government are allowed to keep their hold.

God’s ten basic rules to maintain societal and individual well-being were outlawed by the Supreme Court in 1980, accelerating lawlessness through elimination of any standard of right and wrong.  In Stone v. Graham, one point of argument for the majority was that the effect of posting copies of the Ten Commandments would “be to induce the schoolchildren to read, meditate upon, perhaps to venerate and obey, the Commandments.”  The numerous accounts of school shootings, illicit teacher/student relationships, discipline problems, sub-par education and poor grades since the law “experts” overruled God are confirmation of the value of the Ten Commandments in teaching right from wrong.

The wealth of the people is taken from them in excess taxes and is wasted in many unconstitutional ways: In 2008 George W. Bush and Congress illegally spent nearly a trillion of the citizens’ dollars to save financial institutions from failure.  In 2009 Congress and Barack Obama unlawfully spent nearly a trillion dollars of American’s money to supposedly stimulate the economy.  In 2010 Obama and Congress took over the nation’s health care by passing the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare).  The cost of this unlawful act is incalculable due to subsidies, varied premium increases, and other related costs affecting Americans.

Since the Federal Reserve, the New Deal, the Johnson Amendment, Engel v. Vitale, the War on Poverty, Roe v. Wade, and Stone v. Graham, the Constitution has become an optional guideline to liberals and many supposedly conservatives.  They usually only refer to it when it is needed to promote an agenda, and then often out of context.  For instance, freedom of speech as in the First Amendment is repeatedly cited to condone behavior such as the production of pornography, which is not speech at all, but is an activity that is extremely damaging to society; and the order to the president in Article 2, Section 4 of the Constitution to faithfully execute the laws has been disobeyed by him in many ways, including failing to enforce immigration laws and marriage laws.  However, behavior that is in keeping with the Constitution but is contrary to the agenda of the liberal left is regarded by them as unacceptable and wrongly judged by them as unconstitutional.  Examples include the arrest of a clerk that refused to issue a marriage license to a same sex couple, and fines levied against others that declined to participate in same sex “weddings”; other examples include preventing states from enforcing immigration laws, and the impeding of states’ attempts to prevent voter fraud.

The unlawfulness that began with ignoring the Constitution through the establishment of the Federal Reserve, taking power from the people by giving control of their money and therefore control of the country to a few individuals with designs for the country contrary to God and the Constitution, has now spread like an epidemic through the land.  It is manifesting in cities with people rioting simply because of the enforcement of law.  Those at the highest levels of government and their loyal media incite these riots, calling them protests, which are based on false assumptions of racism, and proclaim erroneous information in an attempt to justify the actions of the rioters.  Unlawfulness leads to chaos.

More rights will fall if the left is not stopped.  The camel’s head got in the tent, the mile was taken when given an inch, and so we near the end of the ride down the slippery slope to communism in America and the world.  The federal financial infringement has now moved into the family, religious, and morality realm.  When money is allowed to be stolen from the people, the people’s focus on freedom and their ability to fight for it is sapped.  Many who would have the country return to its righteous and constitutional roots are preoccupied with providing for their families and lack the time to be involved in the fight for freedom.  Any extra time they might have for such activity is taken up earning enough to turn over to the bloated federal government so it can be wasted in about as many ways as can be imagined in the unnecessary and unconstitutional agencies concocted under the New Deal and the War on Poverty, and all the other unconstitutional expenditures.  We have a choice.  We can ignore what is going on or we can do our best to stop it.

Tyranny Then and Now

What began in troubled times seems to be ending in troubled times.  The document that marks the beginning of the United States of America contains a long list of grievances that justifies the unanimous decision of the original thirteen colonies of our country to, in essence say, enough is enough.  They would take no more abuse and usurpation from the government that they were under, and relying on God’s protection, they were willing to make great sacrifices to break free.

 

There was another beginning long before this, when certain European Christians likewise decided to get out from under oppression.  They were called Puritans, Separatists, and Pilgrims, and they went to great lengths to attain freedom.  They risked their lives and their families in order to obey the God of the universe.  They came to the wilderness of America for freedom to follow the truth of God’s Word.  The actual beginning of our self-government was in a document they signed aboard the vessel that brought them to America.  In this document, the Mayflower Compact, they pledged their endeavor to be “for the glory of God and advancement of the Christian faith.”

 

Their desire was for freedom and to free others from their bondage of ignorance of God’s Word.  As it is written, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4: 6).  They knew from reading the Bible that the king or any government was not who bestows rights.  They knew that God gives rights and is the standard of what is good and righteous.  They were the first to print Bibles in English so that others would know the truth that had been hidden from them by those in power.  Through God’s providence we have reaped the harvest of blessings from those who sowed in righteousness before us, but we as a nation after them have sowed unrighteousness and are now reaping curses.

 

Our situation now is much like that of our founders in the thirteen colonies.  There are and have been leaders in our nation, and those who follow them, who have corrupted our country and brought us now to the brink of destruction, but there are many others who would have us return to morality, righteousness, and common sense.  This feat seems impossible, and is impossible for man alone, but not for God.  “For nothing is impossible with God” (Luke 1: 37).  “He brings one down, He exalts another” (Psalm 75: 7).  The government, the media, the educational system, the financial system, even much of what is supposed to be the church, has been taken piece by piece by those seeking to debase our country.

 

There is much similarity in the grievances put forth by the colonists in the Declaration of Independence to grievances that we can put forth today.  While their grievances were directed at the king, government, and people of England, ours is toward our federal government and those who usurp authority over the Constitution and the people.  Christianity is the foundation of our government and our Constitution is derived from Christian principles.  Freedom, prosperity, and peace are some of the fruits of these Christian principles.

 

The following are the grievances of the original thirteen colonies listed in the Declaration of Independence that justified their separation from England, and the correlation to our grievances today against our own federal government:

 

He has refused his assent to laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.

 

The president and the Department of Justice have refused to enforce the Defense of Marriage Act, our immigration laws, and have opposed states that attempt to enforce these laws.  The president and Congress have foolishly wasted vast sums of tax payers’ money in countless ways, but particularly on so called stimulus packages that have done little if any to stimulate anything except debt.

 

He has forbidden his governors to pass laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them.

 

            There are many issues now facing our nation that are of immediate and pressing importance, including the killing of unborn and newborn children, immigration and border protection, health care, and education.  When a state acts upon issues such as these because of the inaction or erroneous action of the president or the federal government, it is forbidden to do so by them, and action is taken against that state to prevent any sort of state control of these issues.

 

He has refused to pass other laws for the accommodation of large districts of people, unless those people would relinquish the right of representation in the legislature, a right inestimable to them and formidable to tyrants only.  

 

            Our federal government has established voting districts that accommodate the election of anti-constitutional candidates and their agendas.  Between such gerrymandering and rampant voter fraud, the right of representation has been severely compromised.

 

He has called together legislative bodies at places unusual, uncomfortable, and distant from the depository of their public records, for the sole purpose of fatiguing them into compliance with his measures.

 

The president and his cohorts in the legislature have slipped in laws during congressional recesses and placed on the American people regulations decided on in distant global conferences, outside the boundaries of our country and our Constitution.

 

He has dissolved representative houses repeatedly, for opposing with manly firmness his invasions on the rights of the people.

 

The president and his appointed attorney general have refused to enforce our laws, particularly the Defense of Marriage Act, our immigration laws, and voting regulations, effectively dissolving our representative houses.  They, along with a majority of legislators, have grossly neglected to protect unborn children from harm, death, and much suffering, thus denying them the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

 

He has refused for a long time, after such dissolutions, to cause others to be elected; whereby the legislative powers, incapable of annihilation, have returned to the people at large for their exercise; the state remaining in the meantime exposed to all the dangers of invasion from without, and convulsions within.

 

Having effectively dissolved the rightful legislative body, legislation and its enforcement must come from somewhere, so it rests with the individual states and the people, leaving the country without unity.  The states and the people are left to defend marriage, to defend their own borders, to deal with voter fraud, and to protect the people, including unborn children.  The duty of the federal government is neglected and left to the states and the people.  Then the federal government opposes the states and the people who tend to the neglected issues.

 

He has endeavored to prevent the population of these states; for that purpose obstructing the laws of naturalization of foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage their migration hither, and raising the conditions of new appropriations of lands.

 

Population by birth has been hindered through laws discouraging marriage, through inflation, taxes, abortion, and through the encouragement of homosexuality.  For the purpose of undermining unity, the economy, and nationalism, laws of naturalization have been neglected.  The executive branch has refused to enforce naturalization laws and Congress has refused to act upon this disregard of the Constitution.  The influx of indigent immigrants flowing in unmitigated has strained the economy through tax expenditures and job losses for American citizens, and undoubtedly allowed entrance of many with harmful intentions.  Further debilitation of our nation has been through the restriction of lands rich in natural resources so that these needed resources must be imported from other countries, often from those opposed to our ideals and hostile toward us, so that by purchasing these resources from them we are giving aid to our enemies.

 

He has obstructed the administration of justice, by refusing his assent to laws for establishing judiciary powers.

 

The president has obstructed the administration of justice by refusing to enforce laws concerning life, marriage, the right to keep and bear arms without infringement, and immigration.  Congress has allowed this obstruction to continue.  The president and Congress have allowed the courts to overstep their constitutional bounds.  They are allowed to not just make judgments, but to make law, as in the infamous Roe verses Wade case that has resulted in heinous crimes against millions of babies, born and unborn.  Only Congress is permitted to make laws.  Every law must pass constitutional muster. Therefore the president is unlawful in enforcing what is not law, and in not enforcing what is law.

 

He has made judges dependent on his will alone, for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries.

 

Judges are appointed by the president, not according to their strict adherence to the Constitution, but according to their liberal viewpoints in spite of the Constitution.  They are a law unto themselves and not held accountable by the president or by Congress.

 

He has erected a multitude of new offices, and sent hither swarms of officers to harass our people, and eat out their substance.

 

The number of government agencies and bureaucracies has increased greatly under the current administration.  These represent repetition of purpose, burdensome regulations, and wasted tax dollars.

 

He has kept among us, in times of peace, standing armies without the consent of our legislature. 

 

We have intervened in the affairs of other countries militarily, when our nation was not at risk or in danger, resulting in great loss of life, limb, and substance.

 

He has affected to render the military independent of and superior to the civil power.

 

The Constitution gives only Congress the power to declare war.  However, the president orders our troops into combat here or there, with or without Congress’ consent.

 

He has combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our Constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving his assent to their acts of pretended legislation:

 

European law and Sharia law have been referenced by U. S. courts for reaching verdicts.  Treaties such as the North American Free Trade Agreement have subverted our Constitution.

 

For quartering large bodies of armed troops among us:

 

While our military is being reduced and dismantled, the Department of Homeland Security is stockpiling huge amounts of ammunition, and has thousands of armed agents in place among us.

 

 For protecting them, by a mock trial, from punishment for any murders which they should commit on the inhabitants of these states:

 

The mock trial known as Roe v. Wade has protected the federal government and others from being held accountable for the torture and murder of millions of babies.  It has paved the way for tax money to fund this macabre mayhem and has given aid to those committing these hideous crimes.

 

 For cutting off our trade with all parts of the world:

 

Federal taxes, regulations, and policies have created disincentives for manufacturing in the U.S.  This has led to excessive unemployment and lopsided trade.

 

For imposing taxes on us without our consent:

 

Through unlawful executive orders such as amnesty for illegal aliens, and unconstitutional legislation, such as the Affordable Care Act, an increased tax burden has been laid upon us without our consent.

 

For depriving us in many cases, of the benefits of trial by jury:

 

Unborn and often newborn babies suffer cruel and unusual capital punishment, without trial by jury, without facing their accusers, or even being accused of a crime.

 

For transporting us beyond seas to be tried for pretended offenses:

 

Instead of being tried overseas, our courts apply foreign laws to cases within our borders, regardless of our constitutional protections.

 

For abolishing the free system of English laws in a neighboring province, establishing therein an arbitrary government, and enlarging its boundaries so as to render it at once an example and fit instrument for introducing the same absolute rule into these colonies:

 

The set system of laws that had served England and the colonies were being disregarded and replaced by tyranny.  Our Constitution is being disregarded by the three branches of our government.  Judges make arbitrary rulings as we are being set up for tyranny, which is ever encroaching.

 

For taking away our charters, abolishing our most valuable laws, and altering fundamentally the forms of our governments:

 

Our fundamental law, the Constitution, has had parts of its meaning distorted or disregarded.  The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution have been unlawfully usurped by treaties and agreements.

 

For suspending our own legislature, and declaring themselves invested with power to legislate for us in all cases whatsoever. 

 

The president has legislated through executive order.  Laws have passed during the absence of much of Congress in a stealthy manner.  Our courts have become legislative bodies.

 

He has abdicated government here, by declaring us out of his protection and waging war against us.

 

The president has gone to foreign countries to speak against our country, apologizing to our enemies.  His words and his actions are acts of war against us.

 

He has plundered our seas, ravaged our coasts, burnt our towns, and destroyed the lives of our people.

 

Our seas have been plundered by government confiscation of our oilfields.  Our country has been ravaged from coast to coast through harmful government policies that ruin our schools, our cities, and the lives of our people.

 

He is at this time transporting large armies of foreign mercenaries to complete the works of death, desolation and tyranny already begun with circumstances of cruelty and perfidy scarcely paralleled in the most barbarous ages, and totally unworthy the head of a civilized nation.

 

Our borders are left open for our enemies and those who would live as parasites on American taxpayers, to complete the work of destruction that our own government has begun and that was accelerated on September 11, 2001.  Our enemies kill and maim indiscriminately, and our government aids and abets them in an effort to complete the work of death, desolation, and tyranny.

 

He has constrained our fellow citizens taken captive on the high seas to bear arms against their country, to become the executioners of their friends and brethren, or to fall themselves by their hands.

 

Our military personnel are basically held captive after their enlistment, and being intertwined into their training is the conditioning to attack their fellow citizens.

 

He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us, and has endeavored to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian savages, whose known rule of warfare is an undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions.

 

We see the policies of our government causing racial tension, demonstrations by illegal aliens, and the indiscriminate killing by Muslim terrorists, anti-Christian extremists, and others motivated by these insane policies.

 

In every stage of these oppressions we have petitioned for redress in the most humble terms.  Our repeated petitions have been answered only by repeated injury: A prince, whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.

 

We have also petitioned our three branches of government for redress, to little avail.  Our republic has turned into a tyrannical government much like the one from which the founders and our ancestors gained independence.  The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, so painstakingly drafted, have become sources referenced by the federal government only when misconstrued to serve the purposes of tyranny.

 

Our grievances go beyond those of the colonists to include gross immorality that is promoted by the federal government, and with all the entitlement programs of the federal government, the land of the free has become the land of the freebies. Just as surely as we were being assaulted with bombs and bullets by the British in 1776, we are now being assaulted with policies and programs by the president and his people.

 

Ours is not a call to revolt but a call to recover.  Our heritage has been allowed to be stolen, and now we want it back.  With voter fraud and few righteous candidates for government office, recovery is difficult.  Will we keep following the breadcrumbs of government promises into the trap that is ready to fall, or will we be disciplined enough to say no to the insane policies that are ruining America, and work to regain what has been lost?  We the people are America and those elected to offices of government work for us.  If they don’t do the job, we must terminate their employment and prosecute when necessary.  Every American citizen is called to be vigilant.  We must be aware of the activities of those making decisions for us and spending our money.  We have to take what action we can to preserve liberty for us, our children, grandchildren, and the world.  Freedom is worth fighting for!
